This is an excellent opportunity for a Site Engineer to join a leading contractor delivering major projects in the water industry. As a Site Engineer, you’ll play a key role in hands-on site delivery while continuing to develop your skills on long-term frameworks.


About the Role

We’re looking for a Site Engineer to join a growing team working across civil infrastructure projects, with a strong focus on the water industry. This Site Engineer role will involve setting-out, surveying, and supporting the successful delivery of works on site.

As a Site Engineer, you’ll work closely with site teams and subcontractors to ensure accuracy, quality, and safety across all stages of construction. This is a great opportunity for a Site Engineer who enjoys being fully involved in practical site delivery.


Key Responsibilities

As a Site Engineer, you will:

  • Carry out setting-out, alignment, and levels checks using Total Station and GPS
  • Produce as-built surveys and QA records to support project delivery
  • Provide technical input and support to site operations as a Site Engineer
  • Work closely with subcontractors and engineers to ensure smooth delivery
  • Maintain high standards of quality, safety, and compliance
  • Assist with communication between site teams and stakeholders

What We’re Looking For

To be successful in this Site Engineer role, you will have:

  • Experience working as a Site Engineer on civil engineering or infrastructure projects
  • Qualifications needed: HND or HNC / Civil Engineering Technician Level 4, with CAD and BIM proficiency.
  • Strong setting-out and surveying experience using Total Station and GPS
  • Knowledge of drainage, earthworks, and general civils
  • Confidence working independently as a Site Engineer on site
  • A CSCS card and full UK driving licence
